The hunt is on in Apex Legends’ brand new event, the Inner Beast Collection Event, and as usual, there’s so much for players to dive into and grind towards. Whether you’ve been a day one player or are now diving back into the battle royale, it’s best you don’t miss out on the event!

Battle Royale Takeover: The Hunt
As the name implies, the new Takeover: The Hunt replaces the standard non-ranked battle royale mode with a brand new bounty system mechanic. Across the arena, players can find ‘Hunts’ which are datapads that will assign a ‘Prey’ squad for you and your squad to hunt down.
Hunts are scattered across the map and can be activated at any point in a match! It’ll automatically start tracking your ‘Prey’ so it’s easier to find and eliminate your targets. It’s a great way to induce firefights since you’re always able to find someone to go after.
When activated, Hunt datapads will automatically mark a ‘Prey’ squad to take out. The datapad will receive ‘tracking data’ that will update the Prey’s squad position at intervals. But Prey squads will be alerted when a Hunt squad is close.
The range is around 70m, so the closer you get, the better-prepared Prey squads will be.
Completing the Hunt will reward you a bonus, but fail, it’s the Prey squad that will receive it instead.
What Items Can You Earn in the Inner Beast Collection Event?
There are a total of 24 items to collect in the Inner Beast Collection Event, ranging from Epic to Legendary rarity items. This includes banner frames, Legend skins, and weapon skins so there’s a great selection of swag to earn.

Every day, players can earn up to 1400 points and the challenges refresh daily so you can complete these challenges alongside your battle pass challenges to rank up quicker.
