If you’re wondering whether you’re old enough for a jyp audition, you’re not alone. The age limit has been set at twenty-one for the 2021 season, which is still quite young. That said, the age limit doesn’t stop anyone from applying. There are some tips to make sure you’re as young as possible – and that includes looking at your photos!
You can join the JYP audition as early as age 14. This audition is open to both Koreans and internationals. Simply visit the official JYP entertainment website, click the link to the auditions, and click the apply button. From there, you’ll be directed to a new page where you’ll need to select your age group. If you’re Korean, select the under-14 category. If you’re from India, go to the other section.
Next, you’ll need to prepare for a modeling audition. This will require you to pose for a photo and have an excellent walking technique. Posing is more important than physical appearance, though, so make sure to be unique. If you pass the modeling audition, you’ll be offered a chance to take part in a special training system designed by JYP. Once you’ve been selected, you’ll have an opportunity to become the next big thing in the entertainment industry.
Don’t forget to take your time at the JYP audition. They aren’t a walk in the park. They require a lot of preparation and patience. However, once you’re selected, you’ll be crowned the next K-pop star! Just don’t perform any JYP songs you already know – you’ll only be compared to the original artist!
